What we do

We partner with critical resource explorers delivering faster discovery and lower risk

Captive Baseload Power

On-site use of electricity shifts the power plant model from utility power purchase agreements (PPA) to an avoided cost model, often at 2-3x PPA pricing, driving high flow through margins.  Integrated geothermal power generation and compute complexes present multiple synergies and thermal efficiencies, providing significantly greater operating margin potential.

Integration Synergies and Thermodynamic Efficiency

Geothermal resources provide reliable 24/7 baseload power with minimal variable cost, eliminating risk of fuel supply chain (gas/coal) or intermittent storage cost for clean energy (solar/wind).  Great basin hydrothermal resources benefit from significant water output and low ambient air temperatures, enabling an integrated waste heat and cooling system with high thermodynamic efficiency through regenerative cycles and absorbtion chilling.

Sustainability

Nuclear, coal and natural gas pollution along with water requirements are sparking severe opposition to large scale data center development.  Clean, reliable baseload power and water access is a key differentiator for geothermal as a optimal solution for sustainable development of the compute power needed for the AI economy.

Solution

We reduce resource exploration cost, time and risk with rapid field reconnaissance and multi-sensor fusion driving AI accelerated feedback to crews in the field.

Our models have been trained in the Great Basin USA's extensional geothermal and epithermal fairways with world leading data aggregation and Geode's proprietary historical and ongoing surface and subsurface data enrichment.

Aerial indicator mapping

Cutting edge spectral survey provides a comprehensive surface indicator map, boosting the efficiency of ground surveys and accuracy of costly geophysical and drilling programs.

UAV Magnetics & Precision Gravity Surveys

Captured during the rapid ground survey window to improve the efficiency of subsurface investigations for high value targets.

Rapid Ground Survey & Sample Optimization

A suite of geochemical sampling tools paired with rapid shallow probe and core methods (2m-20m) finds and confirms surface anomalies and indicators

Dynamic Drilling and Resource Discovery Confirmation

State-of-the-art, agile drilling fleets enable 1,000ft/day of target-tracing productivity to validate a discovery with optimal drilling cost vs. data needed for a QP to infer a resource potential

HOW IT WORKS

Our Process.

Resource Confirmation

AI enhanced reservoir model development and temperature, water and permeability confirmation through subsurface sampling and temperature gradient drilling.  In house exploration and geologist team conduct field mapping (fault, geochemical and spectral), followed by contracted drilling confirmation and GeothermEx feasibility study.

Site Design and Forward Purchase Agreements

Secure forward purchase agreements for power, compute and carbon credits. 3rd party design/development contracting and shovel-ready budget and cash flow model.
Secure construction financing and build-out timeline established.

Construction & Integration

Finalize partnerships along with production and injection drilling plan.  Contract turn-key power block and data center construction. 18-24 months to go live power generation.

Launch & Optimization

Continue expanding production capacity and iterative reservoir modeling.  Add subsequent industrial complex partners and tenets.
